today i am dialated to a ONE!
ONE WHOLE ONE!

which is more than the zero which was two weeks ago.

also, my ob and nurse have declared aloud that i am the most pleasant 37 week prego lady they have in their office right now and that everybody else was either in tears or begging to be induced.

which made my day.

i've been taking it so easy, so i was surprised that i'm dialated at all and that makes me
ELATED.

don't worry, for all you moms out there i recognize this is pretty much the smallest deal ever and i'm blowing it out of all sorts of proportion but i don't care because it's somethin to me!

and i know in like five weeks when i'm still at a one (just kidding, please lord dont let that happen) i'll be done celebrating.

but for now... superwoohoo!

has anyone ever heard of anyone having a nickname of "cricket" when they were little? i think it's the cutest nickname other than peanut and i've already decided our other girl is going to be cricket.
or boy.
or whatever

oh oh OH pee eessss: my baby shopping spree came in the mail today! double superwahoo! now grace has a changing pad, a billion (okay, a thousand) diaper wipes, a sling/carrier, a monitor, a ton of different bottles to try and i added two more books to our classics penguin clothbound collection: middlemarch and tale of two cities.

it's like christmas in may! AND it's raining! thank you world.
