nursery time!

my mom is visiting this week (okay i know i've tooted my horn enough about it!) and i'm so excited! we are finishing the nursery (it's going to be a lot of work) so i'm going to give you a sneak peek of what the beginnings look like! (also, some really really really adorable baby clothes that i had when i was a baby that my mom brought up here for grace to have that kind of make me want to cry, let grace wear them once and then frame them all so she can't throw up on them) (even though i'm sure i did.) (tmi?)

okay! picture time.

this is the rocker/swivel/glider fabric and it's washable!

the mobile's temporary home until i can find a stud finder

the new lamp and a sneak peek of the gorgeous incredible amazing english paper pieced quilt my mom made for grace. it's going on her wall so she can't throw up on it.

the fabric pile for the boxed cornice, windowseat, piping, ottoman, and crib skirt

new closet handles

ottoman form

babys FIRST TUB! and the roll of windowseat foam and the carseat...

my first hospital baby hat- 6lbs 3 oz.

Cuteness!!! How fun to have your mom around. I love that she saved all those clothes!

On a different note, I was blog surfing today and came across this and for some reason instantly thought you'd like it. :) Enjoy!
