today the nurse at my ob laughed at me when i asked her if it was okay to punch peanut back in the face and shove her limbs back into my body instead of letting her stretch and push and pound on my insides.
i really thought i was going to hurt her if the pushing increased in strength anymore...turns out she's as stubborn as i am.
stinker.
i told b i was going to bed but he decides that 8-9pm is the best time in the day to get things accomplished: i.e. throwing weights around in the basement, measuring the basketball hoop to see if he can really slam dunk on a real high rim, pulling the weight sled around in the backyard (in the dark... in the chicken poop.), dragging my dead lifeless body down to the timp track to walk for an hour...
seriously.
?
heartburn is now becoming a constant problem- all day, all night- too many tums... will make it alright!
except you aren't supposed to take more than 10 a day and i'm pretty sure i've already eaten fifteen today. and it's not even bedtime (apparently)
today i picked out the fabric and new (less hip, but so so so much more comfortable) rocking chair! it should be here in 6 to 8 weeks (phew right on time, the week before peanut arrives!) AND it's machine washable suckers! try to spit up on THAT little girl!
i am measuring 31 cm at 31 weeks perfectamundo! also i am in love with my new OB. i celebrated waiting for two hours to meet him by going to nerdies (kneaders) and buying cupcakes, a loaf of banana bread, and a big sandwich.
it's been a good day.
tomorrow is the dreaded glucose test. hold onto your milkshakes people. i better not have gestational diabetes or at least i better eat that whole loaf of banana bread before i find out if i do.
i think my strawberries might have outlived the winter storms!

Try a liquid antacid for your heartburn, that was the ONLY thing that worked for me! :)
Feel free to tell me you are sick of advice from anyone other than you ob. But zantac was what worked for me and heart burn. Also, can we play someday? I think it could be fun.
