Today I finished CS LEWIS' Letters to an American Woman and Life As We Knew It By Pfeffer
CS was such a joy to read, and I learned things I didn't know about him (personal things that never complained their ways into his novels that I know of) His health, his wife (Joy) (i.e. surprised by joy), who died almost right after they were married. What a tragedy, but Lewis always looked at life with a loving laugh in his pen and optimism in Christ and everyone else.
Life as we knew it was an interesting and kinda mellow tragic idea on how the world ends. Well, it doesn't end but it gives a day by day diary of a catastrophic event that changes our world, with the moon.
It highlights the triumph of love and family through hard times.
It was good. I like some of it immensely.
I got a bunch more books. (Since I can't seem to stop reading. It's a sickness I swear)
I am excited to read, I'll letcha know how I like 'em.
