movements

yesterday i got to see peanut and all her parts

she has ten toes, two feets, two legs, two arms, a long pretty spine, two fists, a brain, kidneys, a bladder which was full, and a beautiful heartbeat and heart. she is face down and so it was hard to see her face, but i did see one eye and her nose and mouth.

and when i asked her to flip around so that we could see her better she stuck her fist over her ear. i cant hear you and i'm comfortable this way.

i'm serious.


i wish she would wave again and also that that placenta would move to the back so that i can feel her kicking and moving again more. that and my innards hurt.

i ran into my military wife trinity at the docs and her little boy said "bye babe" to me as i walked into the doctor's side of the office. it was awesome.


she weighs 18 oz. or almost three cups.
