pink elephants and snow

Also! hey, I forgot to tell you our ward theme this year is Holiness to the Lord, and we made plates at color me mine as reminders for our home of the theme. Brandon actually dedicated his to donuts. On the way to color me, he started singing "More Donut Holes Give Me" which really comes from his heart, and is what ended up on his plate. Mine just has polka dots and says More holiness give me, because I couldn't get the donut holes song out of my head.

I'm having huge issues on what color to paint peanut's nursery... please help me decide.



I know you can't really see the first one but it's just a really really light version of the second one. They are pretty elephant aqua-y blues. BUT PEANUT IS A GIRL (BUT WHAT'S MORE GIRLIE THAN A TIFFANY'S GREEN?!) don't worry, I'm putting up my pink anthropologie glass lanterns
(you can kinda see one in this picture in the corner- seriously unflattering of me but, the lantern in the corner is the one i'm talking about and they are pale pink... why didn't anyone get a picture of the cake with the lanterns?! oh well, it lives in my brain.

so im taking those from the wedding and making a tiny (because babies are little!) mobile to go inside/around them (i'm going to try to sew some pink elephants and balloons with different fabrics and hang em with fish wire or different white lace ribbons) AND her crib bumper is pink (well, the one I registered for), AND the windowseat cushion (once I find the fabric) is going to be pink too. And the english paper pieced quilt has a bunch of 50's pinks in it. and that goes on one wall.

But I didn't want to paint the whole nursery a color that was just girly because when other people live here I don't think they'll want a pink room. So, I tried to make it... beachable/neutral. BUT HELP ME, tell me which shade is better. oh and all the furniture is white/cream and one big hutch thing that is a deep honey brown and the carpet is dark brown.
