a whale of a tale

So, B and me have been avidly watching the Bachelor... and we were pleased with last night's outcome. Although for the last fifteen minutes of what felt like three hours, we were sort of distracted by a new game that Grace has decided to play with us.

The game is called: let me punch my foot into mom's belly as hard as i can so that dad can grab it from the outside game.

it feels so so so weird.
B can't wrap his hand AROUND what peanut is pokin with but, when she kicks you can feel the outline of her little foot pressing out and hold it in your hand.

(alien music here)

but i love it.

also, since I've gotten older, I've become much better at packing lightly when I travel,
now look at what I am packing.

!

a little girl! who has worse packing habits than i do- that stinker takes up so much room my back feels like it's going to pop off my body.

(i have three more months, and in that time frame i expect my face and upper body to vanish entirely in the eclipse of peanut)

ON a side note: please pray for no stretch marks.
So far I've been really lucky, even though I'm convinced my belly button is going to exsplode. I didn't even think about it until B asked me if it was possible.

on a much more important side note: please pray for the people of japan, they've lost everything this week and I can't even imagine how that feels.

So cute. I love the wild soccer games that go on in there. And about the stretch marks -- it's a genetic thing whether you get them or not. If your mom got them, you'll probably get them, and there's nothing you can do to prevent them (dangit). If your mom didn't ever get them, then you might be one of the lucky ones and not get any. (Read about it on MayoClinic.com) Let's just say....not so lucky over here. I call the last 3 months the home streatchmark for a reason. hahaha
