gang green

hi,
last night we celebrated my father in law's birthday, it was loads of fun and the whole family came over for pizza and cake and bruises.
wait, that was just me.

brandon threw a dodgeball at me yesterday from two rooms away and nailed me on the leg so hard! my veins got all hard and nasty and started hurting really bad and now i have this beautiful shiner to show for it.

so last night instead of peanut bouncing around all night keeping me up, my legs were.

:]

i'll get him back...
it's st. patricks day and i'm in a pinchy mood.

after dinner we went to a patriotic show that our niece kylie's school put on- it was really cute and i tried very hard not to cry like a prego when they sang about soldiers and how proud they were to be americans.

isn't kylie beaaauuutiful? and mom too!

after that the children turned brandon into their personal jungle gym and b found a new friend in our little niece bella- he hogged her the whole night it felt like!

maybe i was just jealous. but i had an honest peak into what having peanut here is going to be like- we're going to fight over who gets her all the time! i say that's GREAT as long as he wants her allll night. :]

just kidding.

we bought our rockingchair!!!! i'm so excited for it to come I can hardly staaand it (or rock it, whichever you prefer)

i'm gonna have to make snap on or velcro cushions for the arms so that my arms dont fall off- or a bucket seat cover for the whole thing.

I have too many ideas for this nursery and i'm running out of wall space. I don't want her to be overwhelmed... hopefully if i keep up the slug pace i've set for myself not too much will happen before she gets here.

I signed us up for birthing classes at the hospital and b says I owe him big (it's 2.5 hours once a week for four weeks! holy mackeral) but i'm excited and grateful that he'll get to come with me and learn more about all the stuff i've been reading about.

This morning dash knocked me completely over from behind.

sneak attack.
Maybe it's cause i wasn't wearing green.

Happy st pattys erebody!

p.s. what did i do to become an amazon.com Prime member?

I just found your blog and I love reading all your posts. 1. I love the story about your little baby kicking you 2 I LOVE your rocking chair. It looks sweet. and... 3. I'm pretty sure I've gotten a million bruises when my husband had hit me on purpose or because I can't catch!
