we're ready for takeoff

I would just like to tell the blogging world, that I made my very very best effort in creating a crafty, beautiful blog by re-coding my html with a new font called purple boxers.
And I would just like to tell you how very, very much that effort failed.

Changing something using a program you know nothing about
= slow slow blog
=no bueno.
so
folks,
for your convenience
and so that my computer doesn't sound like an airplane taking off every time I go to load my own blog page
no fancy shmancy.

Also, of note is that today was my first day of working for Limited Brands company Bath and Body works.
This job rules.

Basically I get to go around a big store filled with pretty bottles and sweet smelly scrubs and lotions and all sorts of beauty potions
and try them all
and fill the shelves
and talk to pretty bubbly sales associates
with rocks on their hands bigger than my head.

Not only do I get oodles of free gifts and samples and love and a cute apron
today
I was lucky enough to be placed in the store that won some competition for selling the most home fragrances in america.
thank you provo/orem houswives.

SO
today,
on my first shift
I got to meet and greet a famous (pseudo famous) home shopping network fragrance expertttt named Harry
who was FABULOUS
using his words :
superlux

which is the BEST new word ever.
ever.

and meet a bunch of important people who own the company and are in charge of the region etc. etc.
they were all charming and dressed
to the tens
not the nines
the tens.

I felt like a country bumpkin.
in my urban outfitters peter pan white shirt, AA cardigan and black tapered trousers.
IN MY URBAN OUTFITTERS PETER PAN WHITE SHIRT AA CARDIGAN AND BLACK TAPERED TROUSERS.
WITH FRYE LEATHER WHITE FLATS.
okay read that twice.

what is eight times seven?
well, anyways I get to work 18 hours next week and it is going to be superlux.

Brandon I miss you so much that it aches.

But at least the cold is waning.
my ears are not waxing
the moon, I haven't seen for a while
but on the drive home I saw a shooting star.
Just looking up in orem youtah.

And I know you are thinking of me too.

love,
jacqueline
