ps
i found the entire back fence covered in wild raspberries this morning.

it ended well
except for i stained the entire front of my skirt reaching for the big ones in the back.

all i need to learn now is how to make jam.

Freezer jam is a breeze, especially if you buy the freezer jam pectin. Mash berries, mix in sugar and pectin, stir for a few minutes, put in containers, freeze. TA DA. Bottling jam isn't very hard either, just more steps and it heats up the kitchen. :)

I remembered something funny.... Grandma Murray used to sew aprons that she'd wear for raspberry picking back when they grew berries and corn on the Cochran's land in Mapleton. The aprons were awesome--they had two large pockets in the front specifically designed to hold two (or three, I forget) big BYU yogurt containers. Anyways. random :)
