Pandora radio- a big thank you for curing my holiday blues, reds, and purples. (a combination of the two) While I made toffee for the first time, which turned out a little pinky? pink? what? who nose. I think it's a combination of trying to pretend like I can cook (I bought all stainless steel pots and pans- I saw them, shine ing at me in target and they came home with me...) and my love for the concept that REAL cooks use THESE kinda of PANZ. Unfortunately, REAL cooks, REALLY KNOW HOW to use these pans.
I'm not sure I do...
Everything burns, sticks, sits, stews, and simmurz.
SHOOT.
owel.
Things were going well when (If I could give you this INCREDIBLE toffee recipe I would insert it here, but for the fact that it's a family recipe and my mother would pull all of my toes off one by one if I ever peeped a word...) after stuurrrr ing for almost 40 minutes.... (phew) the mixture turned PINK- seprated the oils and that's when the splashing started
right onto my hands.
oh 300 degrees
you hurteth.
