June 7, 2010

where do i begin? well, start at the beginning and when you reach the end, stop.

OH life, it is so good to be full of you again. The days dont drag, they RUN past me and at the end I am in the arms of this fantastic man again

some things we've been doing.
(pictures are totally out of order at the end.)

The day brandon came home he was looking in wonder around the house and found the fridge magnets (which any any any family should own because they are fabulous to make little messages to everyone and happy stuff) and i had a count down of days until he came home and when he saw that he immediately went over and switched around the numbers so that the message now looks like this. (our days picture)

then he proceeded to look for all the presents i've gotten him while he's been away and hidden around the house. he found them all but for some reason he didn't see his BIKE (hello?) and i was like :"hey... do you like your bike?" i thought oh no he must HATE it if he totally ignored it. but he never saw it and when he did he looked like this:

we rode our bikes down to the provo river trail and had a beautiful sunday of riding laughing and talking. we found a small playground and pond.

and then he found some stuff i was going to send to him but never did and in that box was this from ikea which is hilarious a little bug hat we had fun with

we had our first grill the day after memorial day on our little camp stove in the backyard (it's gas but we just put charcoal in the bottom and used it like that. it is so cute and red.

tonight we are going down to the shed (family hole of stuff) to get a tent that dad said we could have! (how awesome is that?!)

brandon made some grilled sweet pineapple for dessert and we watched ponyo.

a few days later i tried my hand at sweet pork ribs (slow cook em for four hours before they are AMAZZZING) ribs turned out AWSOME with an E in there that i forgot. they fell right off the bone all over the grill it was great. and i dragged old blue (our kitchen table) out into the backyard and made a picnic. then we had a dodgeball fight and water fight where i creamed brandon and left him locked dripping outside. (MAMMA YESSSS)

then on saturday we went to ikeeeaaa and got a bookshelf and spent a few hours hammering the hell out of it until we realized we could just use brandon's arms to push it together... durhg.

we also got bike baskets for both our bikes they are amazing and we cant wait to grocery shop with them.

friday night we went on a bike ride into the first summer storm and it was lovely. we sat on the swings at cherryhill elementary and talked about what it was like to be a kid.
then we road home and changed and went bowling at miracle bowl (seriously a miraculous place because i've never bowled over one hundred and i DID.) i also seriously pulled all of the muscles on the left side of my body because i thought i was being cool by throwing my leg back when i rolled.

awesome.

brandon BARELY beat me because he got three strikes in the last last last second.

miracle.

tonight i am going to try my hand at sausagebisquits and gravy. we'll see how it goes.

these are alllll our pictures
