on pinning

so, this hurts to type since my fingers are all cracking and bleeding because it's faweezing and no amount of ointments or bandaids or sleeping with socks on my hands is helping.

i'd like to make a formal plee to pinterest to make a single dessert category so that i can look and drool at the food category without wanting to make desserts all the time! i love to cook and i like to get inspiration and new ideas from the website but i get sidetracked with all the chocolate and nuts and caramel and more nuts. it's making me nuts.

brandon is out bunny hunting. gov would be proud. we finally moved the rest of our things OUT so now we can walk through our whole apartment without tripping over boxes or dancing around tupperware and things. in spite of being sick all last night in the bathroom, today was pretty good.

except- my christmas decorations are locked in a snowmobile trailer in mapleton and i have no idea who has the keys to the lock on it. boohiss! guess i'll have to be a normal person and wait until thanksgiving is over to celebrate the lord. just kidding. my own mother called me a communist for putting lights up early. my own mother! it's icy out there people! i'm not waiting until a blizzard to drag a tree through the snow into my house!!!! hopefully the big snows will hold off until at least after thanksgiving. but i did see some people setting up christmas tree stands on the street corners and got a little excited.

it's baby's first christmas!!!!!!! people ask us what we want and we say more cousins for grace. and i kind of really want a spin bike. but- i'm waiting for the BEST deal i can find on ksl or craigslist. since spin bikes are ridiculous buys unless you are fabulously wealthy and dont live in a tiny downstairs apartment. maybe i'll just ask my inlaws if i can steal their basement gym every week for the rest of until this baby fat comes off.

is this blog all complaining? let me warm you up. ITS GORGEOUS outside. its cold, but so so beautiful, and it's the perfect weather for drinking warm lemon and honey and eating oatmeal for brekkie. my house is clean and warm and cozy and as wonderfully spacious as it ever will be. my baby is sleeping in her crib and my husband is killing bunnies somewhere in the cold dark with his brothers. i am so grateful. i have great family everywhere i look/go, i have the cutest nieces and nephews in the whole world. and the best sils! my ward is full of sweet old people and cool young hip married people and babies! my christmas lights are up and i didn't even have to wear a coat when i put them up. grace is trying to crawl and that makes me nervous but i still have time to baby proof this place! and CHRISTMAS IS COMING. even for communists.

merry happys

Moscow in the Spring Time cannot compare to an American little town basement apartment on a snowy day!
