Today, I fancy the word: caterpillow

I am most certain, that I learned more today than yesterday.
I like the way that feels
again

the words crawling in

to place themselves
accordingly with my imagine
nations
built out of clay

or pillows
or
insects
dissected for
solely
selfish
reasons.

souly
sully
sunny

are the sounds
that my

silence

sung today.

Did you sing?

I think about this sometimes, on days like this.

It was the only good part of the movie.

"sometimes there is so much beauty
in the world
I feel like I can't take it"

Today I went to the beach with christopher and we sang to each other on my moms quilt. we found clay in the sand and sculpted a man with a sonbrero and a dog that pooped. we squished the clay in between our toes and laughed in the tide pools. we spotted crabs and pulled them out by their pinchers and watched them scuttle back into the ocean. it was a beautiful day. it wasn't as abstract as this poem made it to be.
