With a few flowers in my garden, half a dozen pictures and some books, I live without envy.- Lope de Vega

A story before I dive into the garden below.
Tonight I am meeting with my bishop at seven, I think its going to be a calling and I am sadly not really excited about it. Because the bishop got up and announced that each and every one of the 150 persons in the ward would have a calling, I was hoping I wouldn't get called in until further down on the line. I was banking on having a significant calling... down the line- such as hymn book passer outer, or FHE mother of the year.
I told my dad this and his advice is the best I've had all year (not that that is saying much but still)

"Just go in there, and after he tells you about the calling say 'that's F$%^&*((*&^ ing great!!!'"

I hope you can all use that saying to its fullest this year.

Pretty pretty. Hope you got a meaningful calling. (And that you swore at your bishop...)

I keep waiting for the really important calling that won't make me feel like the kid picked last in gym class. But this is a gospel that calls pigeons to be eagles, and eagles to be pigeons, I heard it said once. I guess I'm an eagle?
